A Samaritan Outreach mentor is a Christian woman who will commit to help a single mother keep her commitments to God, family, and church for at least one year. Also, she must be a member in good-standing of a local, bible-believing church, and agree with the Samaritan Outreach Statement of Faith and mission. Our mentors truly care for single mothers and their children. They recognize that being a single mother is an awesome challenge in a society that seems to encourage co-dependency and irresponsibility. When a struggling mom is tempted to give up, our mentors are there to offer a helping hand, prayer, encouragement, and a listening ear."
